A sweet sentiment in two styles. Stitch one or stitch both!
Thou Hast Stolen Mine Heart
This design came about when I was reminded about the “Somebody Stole My Heart” chart which I first published in 1983. I wanted to re-phrase it with words that sounded like something one of Shakespeare’s characters would say. So I turned to one of my daughter’s friends who is an English Lit scholar and with her help, this new olde design was given life.

Somebody Stole My Heart
Many years ago, I was working with heart-shaped buttons in rows when someone picked one up and the space that was left inspired this design. It was published in my “Large Print Cross Stitch” booklet and later accompanied an article in Just Cross Stitch magazine about my designs.

Both of these designs lend themselves to easy color changes. Use what you love … after all, that’s what this is all about!
Needlework is all about sharing and I hope you will tell your friends about this free design. What I do ask, though, is that you direct them here rather than provide a copy.
